I have over 45 years experience as both a geoscientist and a geoinformatics specialist. My current research is on enabling transdisciplinary data intensive research in a variety of environments from High Performance Computing and Data through to working with Long Tail Communities. Currently I work towards the development of internationally standardisation and harmonisation of Earth Science data to help ensure that it can contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
