Originally a biologist, I moved into the fields of research data management, open research (science), data management plans and assessing and building capacity for researchers at institutions around the world. I joined OpenAIRE in 2021 as their Training Officer having previously worked for the Digital Curation Centre (DCC) as their lead trainer. I have run workshops, done consultancy and project work, such as FAIR4Health, FOSTER and OpenAIRE, and I am also involved in the CODATA/RDA Schools of Research Data Science as a co-chair. In my current position, I lead OpenAIRE's training activities and also lead WP9 Training & Skills for the EOSC Future project.
