From the very beginning to VP15 - an experience report
When I finished my master degrees and became part of the research data management team at the Data Center for the Humanities (DCH) at the University of Cologne in September 2017, I was very soon introduced to international initiatives, e.g. GO FAIR and the Research Data Alliance (RDA), as well as to several national and regional research data organisations and competence centers. Later, taking part in the German RDA Society formation in March 2018 in Berlin and becoming its founding member meant that I could really come into contact with the Research Data Alliance.

RDA Hackathon on maDMPs – the beginning of a new series?
RDA Hackathon on machine-actionable Data Management Plans (maDMPs) took place between 27th and 29th May 2020, and gathered 71 participants from 21 countries from all around the world. RDA Node Slovenia's Research Data Management Workshop
Almost three months since online meetings and events have evolved from an emergency mode of communication to the accepted standard, RDA Node Slovenia is about to launch its second online event, the final conference of the Node titled Research Data and European Open Science Cloud. Node’s first online event, however, was the workshop on research data management plans that was initially planned as a face-to-face event and took place in the beginning of March, in what later turned out to be just days before lockdown.

Webinar: Data Maturity Indicator
Currently, the DataCite Metadata Schema does not provide an explicit property to link/store information on data maturity (e.g. FAIRness or quality of data/metadata). The AtMoDat project team [1,2] drafted an extension to the DataCite Metadata Schema to host such information. This extension is denoted as “Data Maturity Indicator”.

Croatian RDA webinars “Research Data – What About Them?” gone virtually
In May and June 2020 Croatian national node organized two webinars entitled "Research Data - What About Them?". The webinars were developed by SRCE – University of Zagreb University Computing Center in collaboration with the University Library Rijeka, the University of Split Library, the City and University Library in Osijek and the National and University Library in Zagreb. In total 410 participants attend webinars.
