Webinar: Making Research Data Publicly Accessible—Estimates of Institutional & Researcher Expenses

Date:
12 Feb 2024

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) will soon publish its final report on expenses for public access to research data, estimating institutional and researcher costs.

As a result of the NSF-funded Realities of Academic Data Sharing (RADS) research, these results show the financial investments in infrastructure and services institutions have made to support public access and data-sharing policies. This virtual session will highlight our findings on institutional expenses, including those incurred directly by various campus offices, such as libraries, IT, and research offices. Expenses incurred by researchers for various data-sharing activities will also be discussed.

Join them on Monday, February 12, 2024, 2:00–3:00 p.m. EST. This event is open to all.
