Save the Date! RDA Around the World Pilot webinar: RDA France
In October 2023, the idea of a webinar series highlighting RDA's regional members' activities and overall research data management, FAIR data and research landscape was brought forward at IDW2023.
As a first step to realising this series of events, the RDA Secretariat in coordination with RDA Europe is planning a 'pilot' webinar presenting RDA France. The aim of this pilot is to showcase the concept of these events in practice, and gather interest from the community in turning it into a global endeavour.
The webinar will run in two time zones to allow for global participation:

These webinars aim to educate, inform and share national and regional aspects of research data management, FAIR data and research, and approach to Open Science with the global RDA community to increase awareness and understanding of regional differences and similarities and ultimately to encourage collaboration.
Draft agenda
The speakers will present RDA France and its activities, also touching on high level information about the research data landscape in France. The webinars will conclude with a workshop facilitated by RDA Europe, discussing lessons that the community can learn from RDA France, inviting attendees to share their opinions, similarities and differences to other countries.
