Núria Bautista Puig is a PhD student at the Research Institute for Higher Education and Science (INAECU) (http://www.inaecu.com/), which is an interdisciplinary and interuniversity research center, at the University Carlos III of Madrid. She holds a Degree in Geography at the University of Lleida (Spain) and a Masters in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing in the Faculty of Arts in Zaragoza (Spain). The topic of her PhD is about analyzing the commitment of Universities on Spanish Universities on sustainability by analyzing the scientific production and the knowledge transfer actions (sustainability actions, participation in rankings, technological activity, etc.). This topic is involved in a project financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness about 'Research on energy efficiency and sustainable transport in urban areas: analysis of scientific development and the social perception of the subject from the perspective of metric information studies', directed by the Full Professor Elías Sanz Casado from Carlos III University of Madrid. Her areas of expertise include the fields of bibliometrics/ scientometrics, technological activity and sustainability. She has participated in International conferences on the field (Science and Technology Indicators Conference (STI); Nordic Workshop; Living Knowledge Conference; Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF)), national conferences (National Congress of the Environment (Conama), XIII International Forum on the evaluation of the quality of research and education (FECIES)) and has published in national and international journals.
