I have worked in the library profession for 22 years within various environments from Public, Academic, through to Medical and Research libraries. I have continued to grow and expand within my profession and have a strong customer focus. I am always willing to contribute to team objectives, volunteer and show initiative for roles and tasks outside of my comfort zone so as to reach our outcomes. My aim is always to look for opportunities where I can upskill and build on professional development. I look at being part of a team as an ongoing learning curve where I continuously seek opportunities to broaden my skills, particularly professional development opportunities such as attending conferences. I encourage and promote a productive and congenial workplace by assisting my colleagues with workloads within Library Services. I contribute to ongoing collaboration and communication with all my colleagues, researchers and the wider community to achieve team and organisational deliverables.
