PIDINST schema in DataCite metadata

Dear all, I have heard back from DataCite regarding the inclusion of the PIDINST schema version in DataCite metadata. Please find my correspondence with them below in italics. Moreover, as DataCite consortium lead we just received a notification that the new schema version 4.5 (to be released this fall) is now open for feedback (see also below). Introducing PIDINST in a talk
Hello, I'm going to have a talk in a national conference about persistent identifiers and registries (DOI, orcid, ROR, RE3DAT, and so on). I'd like to introduce PIDINST also, what are the resources available (beside the white paper) ? What should I read in order to be accurate in my presentation ?
