Research Data have become a primary research asset that often requires continued access in the dynamic environment of mobile researchers, volatile repositories, transient products and short-lived standards. Libraries have looked after written research assets for centuries and now tackle the challenge of adapting their function to making data reliably accessible and re-usable.

Call for Proposals: Lessons for Librarians in Open Science Principles and Methods 2023 - 2024
The UCLA Library is excited to announce a call for proposals for the second year (2024) cohort of “Lessons for Librarians in Open Science Principles and Methods .” This two-year project (2022–2024), funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), aims to develop and refine seven lessons each year (totaling 14 lessons) through sequential summer workshops.
