I have been involved in infectious diseases for 22 years. I am qualified in Environmental Science and Public Health. I have worked as Health Protection Manager for the Auckland Regional Public Health Service fro 12 years. I have experience in managing communicable diseases . I have led and co-ordinated Auckland Public Health response to SARS, MeRSCov , Ebola Planning and Readiness and large outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases including measles. I am now leading a COVID19 Taskforce in Noosa , Queensland. I am a qualified Environmental Health and Health Protection Officer with designations in Biosecurity , Hazardous Substances and Pollution Control - Air , water , land. I have significant experience in Risk Assessment and emergency management management.
