Laura Carmen Apostol

I'm lecturer within ”Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Faculty of Food Engineering since october 2011. I worked as a researcher at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi within two projecs „Biosorption and bioaccumulation in the bioremediation of environmental compartments contaminated with persistent pollutants (BIOSACC)”. I was Member of Editorial Production and Secretariat of Environmental Engineering and Management Journal (IF = 1.065) (http://omicron.ch.tuiasi.ro/EEMJ/). I hold a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering (2011), a Master degree in Environmental Engineering and Management (2009) and a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering (2008), all from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi. I did my PhD at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi starting with October 2008 focusing on the application of efficient technologies decontaminate dyes polluted wastewater. During my PhD studies I performed a research stage at University of Minho, Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory, Braga, Portugal. My research is focused on physicochemical and biological processes applied in the decontamination of effluents containing synthetic dyes, modeling, simulation and process optimization, integrated pollution prevention and control, and sustainable industrial production.
