Gretchen Greene

Group leader for Data Science Office of Data and Informatics at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (USA) Materials Measurement Laboratory. Our group focuses on research engagement with domain scientists working primarily in the physical sciences and engineering, community engagement, design and development of research data systems. I am an advocate for implementation of best practices and data standards and promote open science technology for collaborative scientific development. At NIST along with my group management, I also currently am a project manager for the NIST Open Access to Research initiative, a new infrastructure at NIST which supports research data, laboratory information management systems, software solutions and collaboration platforms. I have 30 years of working experience in Data Management, partnering with commercial and academic organizations, and leadership in project collaborations.
