Elena Sartini

Elena Sartini graduated in Law in October 2015 from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, School of Law. During the academic year 2018-2019 she attended and successfully completed with Magna Cum Laude the LL.M program in International and European Law, Data Law option at the Institute for European Studies - Vrije Universitet of Brussels. In June 2019 she also attended the "4th European Data Protection Law Summer School: Advancing (with) EU data protection" organised by the Brussels Privacy Hub at the Vrije Universitet of Brussels. Before joining CEL, she worked for two and half years in a couple major international law firms in Rome, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, commercial and banking law. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and supports the Legal & Ethics Manager of the Horizon 2020 projects 5G-SOLUTIONS, PERSIST, and PHOENIX.
