Born in 1973, Dr Catherine ROUSSEY is presently a researcher at the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture Irstea/Cemagref. She belongs to the team COPAIN of the TSCF Laboratory. Her research topics are ontology design, knowledge representation, context representation, semantic web, spatial reasoning. From 2002 to 2011 she was an Assistant Professor in the Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1. She used to teach database courses at the Computing Department of the Technical University Institute called IUTA located in Bourg en Bresse. At that time, Dr Catherine Roussey was a member of the Lyon Research Center Image and Information System (LIRIS). She used to work with Sylvie CALABRETTO in multilingual information retrieval and document management system. She also worked with Robert LAURINI about urban ontology. From October 2008 to June 2009, she was an invited researcher at the Ontology Engineering Group of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). She worked with Oscar CORCHO about anti pattern detection for debugging ontology. In December 2001, Catherine ROUSSEY defended her PhD about “Multilingual information system based on knowledge representation” in the Laboratory for Information Systems Engineering (LISI), National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) located in Lyon. In 1996, Catherine Roussey graduate mathematic engineer from the National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) located in Rouen.
