Started out indexing funding records, went on to help create an electronic curriculum resource database for NYU Medical Center, designed bibliographic databases for EBSCO, helped create an autism ontology, a medical curriculum MeSH-tagging system and NLP-based automatic subject heading extraction tools for Harvard Medical School, then swerved into the intricacies of describing, discovering and sharing research data at UC San Diego. Was the Team Lead/Data Curator for Harvard Catalyst, and managed www.eagle-i.net a linked open data repository for researchers and scienctists. Currently a metadata expert at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, improving data streams and metadata models. Selectively compulsive joiner who does things for many professional groups/associations.
