Alexandre Hobeika holds a PhD in political science (EHESS, Paris, 2016) and a MSc in theoretical physics (ENS / Paris 6, 2003). His is now a permanent social science researcher at CIRAD. His research focuses on the governance of emerging sanitary risks in Europe and Africa, in a "One Health" perspective, in particular the development of digital information systems for the surveillance of diseases. He promotes digital literacy in social science, interdisciplinarity research between social science and life sciences, and is interested in the challenges of the archival of qualitative social science data.
