RDA Solutions for FAIR Research Workflows

Slides and recordings now availble of RDA Greek Node workshop

On the 3rd of July the Athena Research centre, RDA Greek Node Coordinator, organised a workhop on the RDA Outputs and adoption. The workshop aimed to foster uptake of the freely available technical and social challanges of data sharing.  During the workshop an overview of all these solutions, or RDA Recommendations and Outputs as they are called - was given based on the data lifecycle. Feedback from the audience was gathered on related community needs, and potential adoption of RDA outputs, including their usefullness and usability.

Anthony Juehne, Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY and RDA US came to Greece to make an in depth presentation on RDA Outputs. RDA Outputs are the technical and social infrastructure solutions developed by RDA Working Groups or Interest Groups that enable data sharing, exchange, and interoperability. A list of all recommendations and outputs can be found at https://www.rd-alliance.org/recommendations-and-outputs/all-recommendations-and-outputs. The workshop took place at the ATHENA Research Centre in Athens on Wednesday, 3 July, and lasted half a day (starting late in the morning). A discussion followed on related community needs and potential adoption of RDA outputs.
