Brian Alper

Dr. Alper fulfilled the mission of providing the most useful support for healthcare decision making for 25 years with leadership roles in evidence-based medicine, clinical informatics, and business development; founded and scaled DynaMed; and created processes for systematic literature surveillance, rapid guideline development, and defining certainty of net benefit. COVID-19 prompted a mission change to enabling standard-based machine-interpretable expression of public knowledge, especially related to healthcare and scientific evidence. Since COVID-19 Dr. Alper founded and is scaling the COVID-19 Knowledge Accelerator, Computable Publishing LLC, the Fast Evidence Interoperability Resources (FEvIR) Platform, the Scientific Evidence Code System, and the Scientific Knowledge Accelerator Foundation.
