Initially trained as a physicist, Céline worked as a researcher in Surface Science, a field at the crossroads of Physics, Chemistry and Materials Sciences. In 2017, she joined Elsevier in Amsterdam (Netherlands) as a Managing Editor for Surface Science journals. From 2019 to 2022, she became a publisher in the Physics team. The portfolio that she managed included journals publishing software, SoftwareX and Computer Physics Communications, two nuclear data journals as well as the SCOAP3 titles PLB and NPB. Since September 2022 she moved to the University of Leiden (Netherlands) where she is Research Data Manager for the faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.
