Andrew Bentley

I am currently ichthyology collections manager, Specify software usability lead and bioinformatics manager for the University of Kansas Biodiversity Institute. I am also co-PI on the Biodiversity Collections Network (BCoN) 5-year NSF funded RCN and active in SPNHC. I have an interest in data integration and attribution as it pertains to natural history collections as a mechanism for showcasing collections contribution to research and education through linking data elements and products created from collections - publications, Genbank sequences, etc. I am also interested in the possibility of using blockchain as a mechanism for effecting such integration.
