Arnold Rots is the archive astrophysicist for NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Prior to that he has worked at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands Foundation for Radio Astronomy, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and Goddard Space Flight Center. He is an active participant in the development of the (astronomical) Virtual Observatory and the digitization efforts at the Smithsonian Institution.
