Gabriel Neagu

Dr. Gabriel Neagu (http://gneagu.ici.ro/) graduated in Automatic Control and received a PhD in Applied Informatics at the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest. He is currently senior researcher 1st degree and head of research team in the Intelligent and Distributed Data Intensive Systems Dept. During the last decade he has been director of 4 partnership national research projects and national representative in 7 FP7/H2020 projects. His list of memberships includes the IFAC 5.1 Technical Committee (since 1996), the National Committee for Research Infrastructures (2007-2011), the European e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (2008-2011), the FP7 International Programme Committee for Research Infrastructures. He has been scientific evaluator for national and European research programmes, IPC member for more than 50 Int. conferences, reviewer for 7 ISI journals, and author / co-author of more than 70 published papers. His current research interests include IT Agile Architectures, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, eHealth Services, EU Research & Innovation Cooperation.
