Charter and presentation- call for feedback

Julien and I would appreciate to receive your feedback on Charter by next
Tuesday June 7, 2022.

Dear all,
sorry I missed the last meeting, I was on a writing retreat.
Cosmetics: We start the charter with (abbreviation) and later in the text switch to (full name). Why is that so? I consider the second version as uncommon.
Should we aim for active participants/group chairs from the Global South before we proceed?
Where can I read up on the subgroups’ topics? In particular, how do they meet our objectives?
There seems to be a focus on openness in the charter. That’s nice. But isn’t that (one) part of FAIR principles? In particular, I’d consider openness one implementation strategy for FAIR principles, once we have the principles in place.
In FAIR4RS there was a subgroup dealing with definition work. I suggest to also have such a subgroup to match our objectives.

subgroup and that this is an ongoing activity. While we discussed
Reviewer's comments, we realized that some risk management (in case
subgroups are not formed) should take place in the Charter. Please, see
page 6.
