Hi Chris,
If Mark's suggestions are accepted, then I respectfully propose that the WG nominate its own sub-Task Group to carry out the work that is being planned. Taking part with monthly assessments is not feasible for those who (like me) have joined the WG merely out of interest and with no professional commitment in the field. A programme that rigorous makes me question again whether in fact you need passengers like me in the WG.
Cheers,
Elizabeth

A monthly meeting schedule will be difficult for me or UBDC to meet since we are very busy starting up the center and with delivering early results on multiple projects as per RCUK requirements. I propose quarterly meetings which will give us more time to *constructively* report on progress. While I am happy to support this undertaking, since the RDA working group entails for UBDC what is effectively a new unfunded project on the urban dictionary on top of the many, many projects within UBDC that are just starting, it might be best to pace ourselves out given all the other demands.
Quarterly or perhaps once every 2 months may be the right pace for better integration with the center's work, ie, enhanced chances of sustainability.

Hi Elizabeth
Appreciate you point of view. However, this is a RDA working group not an
interest group. Also, I think we will have different levels of
participation from individual. Some will be more active than others and I
see no reason why we cannot accommodate such as spectrum of participation
rates from members.
Thanks for the suggestion of a sub-task group. However, I am not keen this
become multi-tiered with sub groups reporting back to the WG who in turn
reports to TABŠ.
Cheers
Chris
