Kathrin Beck holds an M.A. in computational linguistics from the University of Tübingen. At the University of Tübingen, for several years, she managed the manual and automatic creation processes for the TüBa-D/Z, the largest semi-automatically created text corpus of German language. Additionally, she has been working in national and European infrastructure projects since 2008. She has been the project manager of the linguistic e-infrastructure projects D-SPIN, CLARIN-D. Currently she is working at the Max Planck Computing and Data Faciltiy in Garching, Munich. She is project manager of RDA Europe 3, the European project supporting the global RDA initiative. She is also involved in the EOSCpilot by supporting the Science Demonstrators.
