Joshua Young

Josh Young serves as the Community Services Manager for Unidata within UCAR. In this function, he supervises support for the governing committees for Unidata, outreach, and community engagement. Prior to joining Unidata, he was the program manager for the support office of a federal interagency committee focused on integrating ocean-related data across eighteen federal agencies. His professional focus is on collaboration and the application of scientific data to decision making. He has worked in the domains of atmospheric science, oceanography, coastal zone management, and wildlife biology.
