João Rocha da Silva has been working on research in the area of Research Data Management since 2011, having obtained his PhD in Informatics Engineering in 2016 from FEUP. As part of his studies, he is developing the Dendro research data management platform. Dendro introduces research data management from the start of the research project, in a collaborative environment similar to Dropbox, but adding support for ontology-based, domain-specific metadata production.
