Kenneth Casey

Ken serves as the US National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) lead for technical direction and advises the Director on technical issues and strategies. He promotes NODC as a responsible citizen of the global environmental data management community, leveraging from and contributing to relevant activities of that community. Ken is responsible for NODC enterprise service delivery improvements and works with NODC's community of Data Producers and Consumers to develop technical requirements that support NODC scientific and operational mission goals. He interfaces with the scientific community to maintain familiarity with research directions in various topic areas pertinent to the Data Center, identifies critical program requirements, and leads development efforts to meet future challenges.
