Cristina Ribeiro

Cristina Ribeiro is Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics Engineering at FEUP, University of Porto, and a senior researcher at INESC TEC. She has collaborated and been in charge of research projects in the areas of cultural heritage, multimedia databases, information retrieval and combinatorial optimisation. She is currently leading projects in research data management, focusing on processes and tools for the long tail. Her teaching and curricular development work is developed in the Informatics Engineering and Information Science programs at FEUP. Cristina has supervised 9 PhD and over 30 MSc students. Her current research interests are research data management, digital stewardship and digital preservation, information retrieval.
