Andrea Mannocci

Andrea Mannocci (https://andremann.github.io) is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Information Science and Technologies (ISTI) of the Italian Research Council (CNR) in Pisa. He currently works as a data scientist within the framework of the EU projects OpenAIRE Advance and EOSC Enhance. His research interests span from the development of novel metrics and impact indicators for Open Science, to Science of Science, complex networks and the analysis of research as a global-scale phenomenon inserted in a delicate socioeconomic and geopolitical context. Previously, he was a member of the Scholarly Knowledge Mining, Modelling and sense Making (SKM3) at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) of the Open University (UK). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy) researching on systems for data flow quality monitoring in data infrastructures. He organised the 1st international workshop on Reframing Research (Refresh2019) held at the European Computational Social Science symposium.
