I am a Data Management Assistant at the National Oceanography Centre (UK) working within the British Ocean Sediment Core Research Facility (BOSCORF). The facility houses 13 km of marine sediment cores and operates a comprehensive suite of geological core analysis and imaging systems. Through this role, I have a strong interest in the link between physical samples, analytical data generated from physical samples, and the digital research data ecosystem. I am interested in learning more about the resources, tools and best practices used for physical sample and data management from other members of the RD-A community.
