Daniel is currently a Data Associate at Global TIES for Children, an international research center embedded within New York University’s Institute of Human Development and Social Change (IHDSC) and supported by the NYU Abu Dhabi Research Institute and NYU New York. Here, he is responsible for curating and depositing research data as well as cleaning and wrangling data to prepare for analysis. He is especially interested in librarianship, metadata, knowledge organization, research impact metrics, and data curation. Previously, Daniel worked for educational and civic non-profit foundations that funded programs and resources for underserved and financially in-need populations in Queens and Long Island, New York. He holds a BA from Rutgers University, a Ph.D. in History from Stony Brook University, and a Masters of Library Science from Queens College - CUNY.
