Marthe Klöcking

Marthe Klöcking coordinates the Digital Geochemical Data Infrastructure (DIGIS) to continue and expand the global geochemical database ‘GEOROC’. A data scientist and observational geodynamicist, her efforts focus on maximising access to and re-use of geochemical research data collected from physical samples over the past decades, and so to improve the data and research infrastructure in the Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences. Her role includes developing services for data publication and data analysis. She is active in community efforts to develop international standards and best-practices for geochemical data.
