Steve Diggs is the Technical Director of the Hydrographic Data Office (CCHDO) at UCSD’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography. His career has focused on the design and operation of enterprise level information systems that deliver useful data from sensors in the field to the oceanographic research community. In addition to actively managing data, Steve is a member of numerous international marine data and data science teams including Argo and OceanSITES, and is currently the chair of the data subcommittee for the Southern Ocean Observing System.
