My name is Núria Queralt Rosinach I work as a researcher in the BioSemantics group in the LUMC. I have a MSc in Bioinformatics and a PhD in Chemistry with expertise in FAIR data and analytics. I did my first postdoc in UPF, Barcelona, where I learnt about semantic technologies and Semantic Web/Linked Data to create FAIR data objects like nanopublications for gene disease associations from text mined and curated databases. And I did my second postdoc at Scripps, San Diego, where I learnt about graph-based Machine Learning approaches for hypothesis generation, and a research stay at KAUST, Saudi Arabia where I investigated how to incorporate semantics on analytical approaches for explainable AI on drug repurposing for rare metabolic diseases. Remarkably I implemented an hypothesis generation tool based on building a disease-centric and research question-based KG with collaboration between biologists and bioinformaticians, and I am currently involved in the LUMC Beat-COVID project for FAIR Research Data Management (a publication), Trusted World of Corona (Dutch project), VODAN, and EJP RD projects.
