CNRS Research scientist since 2005 Head of EDYTEM Laboratory 2015-2020 Science advisor for CNRS "scientific continental drilling" since 2020 I develop a Holocene geology based on the study of lake sediments. My main interests concern the interactions between human societies, environment and climate. My favorite tools are sedimentology and high resolution geochemistry. I have a growing interest for molecular paleoecology as well as the concept of "human geology". I am currently involved in the development of the French National cyber-core repository and the national facility "Continental Coring France".
