Being a doctorate student and a person primarily interested in research with the ultimate goal of contributing to the well-being of society, I want to become an active member of RDA and attend RDS plenaries, to learn about the various hurdles found during data sharing, some involving technological aspects and data management. I would like to contribute the knowledge gained from RDA into the society. The virtual RDA meeting for newcomers has made me sure that I want to be a part of RDA for several reasons, such as , help to the community, networking, brainstorming among others. At present, I am in India , stuck due to the COVID situation, would be travelling to canada as soon as possible.
