Clara Llebot Lorente

My background is in Environmental Sciences, that I studied at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, in Spain. I later completed a PhD in oceanography by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, and moved to Oregon, USA, for a 4 year postdoc in biogeochemical modeling of estuaries in the Center for Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction (CMOP). At this point I switched the focus of my career and started working as a data management specialist at Oregon State University, where I am an Assistant Professor and provide support to the researchers of the University around the data management challenges they experience. I teach, I curate data for the institutional repository, and I do research.
