Trained initially as a agronomist and a aquaculturist, I enriched in the last 20 years my domains of expertise with fisheries and agriculture statistics and data information system design, development and implementation. As an International Consultant for The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, I have been involved in several projects related to national and regional fisheries statistics and management information systems. I'm particularly interested in the issues of data and statistics standardization and harmonization to improve quality and quantity of fisheries statistics produced at national to feed evidence based policy making
