TAB Election 2015 | Call for Nominations
Dear RDA Members,
RDA is now seeking candidates for its annual Technical Advisory Board (TAB) election, which will be held in September 2015. With two current appointed members and two elected members stepping down, four vacancies will be open for election on TAB. Bridget Almas, Chuang Liu, Beth Plale, and Jamie Shiers will be stepping down.
We encourage all members to stand in this upcoming election, with the exception of existing members of RDA’s Council and Organizational Advisory Board. We especially encourage participation from members who are still relatively early in their careers. The four current members referenced above, who are stepping down, are also welcome to run for re-election.
As a TAB Board member, individuals will be expected to serve a three-year term and will be eligible for re-election. The Technical Advisory Board provides technical expertise and advice to the Council. It also assists in developing and reviewing RDA Working Groups to promote their impact and effectiveness. The Technical Advisory Board is responsible for the development, maintenance and evolution of the RDA Technical Strategy.
