RDA Europe Financial Support Programme - An opportunity to engage with RDA
New opportunities for Early Career European Researchers & Scientists working with Data – RDA Europe has launched a support programme aimed at introducing European early career researchers and scientists to RDA, highlighting what data scientists/practitioners are doing, drawing on their knowledge for Plenary 4 activities and defining ways in which they can support the Working & Interest group activities.

Interested candidates are invited to consult the application and evaluation criteria. The deadline for completing the on-line application form is 30 June 2014 at 00:00 CEST.
The 4th RDA Plenary Meeting takes place 22-24 September 2014, De Meervaart Conference Centre, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Research Data Alliance/US to Announce its First Cohort of Summer Interns
RDA/US focuses on amplifying RDA results in the United States and on growing U.S. engagement; it is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and partners. The 2014 Summer Interns Program offers opportunities for early career researchers to work on seven projects that are related to the work of RDA Working and Interest Groups as well as take part in the Fourth Plenary, in Amsterdam.
