The Open Science Graphs for FAIR Data Interest Group is a newly created RDA group.  As with all new groups, the RDA community is encouraged to review the group’s Charter Statement and provide feedback by 18 July regarding its mission, objectives and desired outcomes. 

RDA is seeking candidates for the annual Technical Advisory Board (TAB) election, to be held in October and November 2019.  TAB Terms are for three (3) years. We encourage participation from RDA members at all stages of their careers. Please note that current members of RDA’s Council, Secretariat, and Organizational Advisory Board are not eligible for TAB membership. 

Nominations will be accepted until 23:59 UTC on 15 September 2019. See below for more detail.

Taking place from 23-25 October 2019, the 14th RDA Plenary will take place in Dipoli, the nature-immersed building of Aalto University, Helsinki, in Finland, “one of the happiest countries in the world”, states Per Öster, CSC-IT Center For Science Director and Co-Chair of the P14 Programme Committee. From 17-28 June 2019, a 10-day school is being organized by RDA, the African Open Science Platform (AOSP), the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences (EAS), CODATA, the International Centre of Theoretical Physics and the East African Institute for Fundamental Research, which will be conducted at Addis Ababa University to introduce participants to the skills of Research Data Science.
