This November 2020, RDA holds its annual TAB elections. After RDA’s 16th Virtual Plenary hosted by Costa Rica, 5 seats will be vacant on RDA’s Technical Advisory Board (TAB). There are 15 TAB members, and the following 5 are rotating off in November 2020 as their terms expire:

RDA is pleased to announce the candidates nominated for the 2020 Technical Advisory Board (TAB) election. For members not familiar with TAB, this RDA governance group provides technical expertise and advice to RDA Council, and assists in the development, review and promotion of RDA Working & Interest Groups.

For this election, five seats on TAB are open and the following individuals are candidates. Voting will open on 9 November 2020, at Virtual Plenary 16, and close on 23 November 2020 (two weeks later). All RDA members are eligible and encouraged to vote.

Virtual Plenary 16 (VP16) Poster Session - New Developments including Deadline Extension

With over 70 breakout session applications received for RDA's 16th Plenary, we are excited to announce that a rich programme will be available on 26 September.  Registration, with a conservative fee for virtual participation, will be launched soon.  The virtual events platform that will be used to facilitate VP16 has been selected, which will integrate all technical aspects of the meetings (meeting delivery methods, networking and scheduling).  Meeting presenters can expect to receive information in the upcoming weeks regarding the platform, specifically related to its functionality and available training and support.

Hello RDA Community.  It is that time again! We are excited to open the Call for Sessions for Virtual Plenary 16 (VP16).

As announced in prior weeks, we are unable to confirm a face-to-face plenary will take place in Costa Rica due to COVID-19 concerns.  Instead, a virtual plenary (VP16) is scheduled to take place from 9-13 November 2020.
