TAB 2016 Election Now Open!

The election for new TAB members is now open.  Go here to view the ballot, along with additional information on the election process and candidate backgrounds.

 

This is an important way that you, as an RDA member, can have a say in the technical direction of RDA - by choosing the candidates you believe are best qualified to make important contributions.

Announcing the 2016 Candidates for TAB!

 

 

And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the Candidates!!!

 

We have an amazing slate this year, and it would be nice if we could just find space for everyone, but, alas, Regional Balance criteria come into play.  Given the current TAB membership, a maximum of 2 candidates from the Europe and Africa region, 2 candidates from the Americas, and 3 from the Asia and Oceania can be elected this time.

Groups in Community Review Need YOUR Input!

Just a reminder - we have three groups in Community Review that would all benefit from YOUR input.  Go to the RDA Home Page, and cast your eye over the 'Request for Comment' box.  You'll see links to the Rice Data Interoperabiliy Working Group; the Weather, Climate, and Air Quality Interest Group; and the Repository Core Description Working Group.  All three of these groups hope to be underway by our September meeting, so this is the ideal time to help shape their initial work.
