RDA Data Citation WG Webinars: Implementing the WG-DC Recommendations

The RDA Working Group on Data Citation (WG-DC) brings together a group of experts to discuss the issues, requirements, advantages and shortcomings of existing approaches for efficiently citing subsets of data. The WG-DC focuses on a narrow field where significant contributions can be made and provides prototypes and reference implementations.

Research Data Alliance Council: Call For Nominations 2016

The Governance Documents of the Research Data Alliance (RDA) and the RDA Foundation indicate that Council members are to serve three-year (renewable) terms, with three members selected each year. A Nominations Committee determined by the current Council is to develop a slate of three candidates each year who are approved by a general election of the RDA membership.

The Research Data Alliance is recruiting a Secretary General

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is recruiting a Secretary General to begin in April of 2017. The ideal candidate is a suitably experienced leader with a demonstrated ability to engage with the members, Council and senior stakeholders of the RDA, and the ability to be a key driver of the RDA mission of rapidly building the social and technical bridges that enable sharing of data.

The Secretary General reports to the co-chairs of the RDA Council.

RDA, the Research Data Alliance, in collaboration with the universities of Turin, Milan, Bologna, Trento and Parma and supported by CNR, AISA and OpenAIRE is pleased to invite you to a two-day workshop about sharing, reuse, and reproducibility of research data on some selected scientific fields, and related research infrastructures, of strategic relevance in Europe.
