RDA Output Adoption Webinar Series: Outputs to Support Reproducible Health Research

RDA Regions have specific mandates to encourage and monitor further uptake of RDA outputs, through promotion of the value of the outputs themselves and the value gained by adoption. An effective communication campaign is therefore fundamental to promote the RDA recommendations and outputs to groups and organisations within and outside RDA and further stimulate test, adoption and implementation. With this aim in mind, the global RDA adoption team is developing a series of tailored calls aimed at training and outreach, with the first scheduled for March 22nd at 8am PDT/ 11am EDT/ 3pm UTC, which will be focused on RDA’s work in health research.

The what, why and how of the RDA EU 4.0 adoption grants: join the webinar on February 21 at 2.00 PM CET

RDA Europe 4.0 has launched a call for adoption use cases. The call aims to support and encourage examples of adoption which can benefit others, to promote these examples and to learn lessons about benefits and challenges that arise from making use of RDA recommendations.  On February 21 at 2.00 PM CET, RDA Europe 4.0 organises a webinar Q&A to give you a detailed overview of the programmes and the application process for the grants, evaluation criteria while aiming to answer questions from the participants.

We are pleased to announce the programme for the RDA 13th Plenary Meeting has been published on the RDA website.  With the meeting theme, “With Data comes Responsibility,” numerous data trends, challenges and solutions will be addressed by our community. Attended by hundreds of data professionals from around the world, this meeting is an excellent opportunity for you to connect with the international data community and collaborate on shared topics of interest.

Plenary 13 Updates and Deadlines

  • Session Application Update – We received more than 70 session applications for Plenary 13 (P13), which are now being reviewed by the Technical Advisory Board (TAB). Acceptance will be sent out by TAB liasions on 7 February 2019. This week, if you are a member of group who submitted a session application, you should have received a notification on your group page and an e-mail, informing you where to locate your session page.
