RDARI Planning Meeting at 10am UTC, Thursday 16th July

by James Wilson

Dear RDARI IG Members, Having taken a look at the Doodle Poll circulated last week, it would seem that the best time to meet to plan our activities for RDA 16 will be at 10am UTC on Thursday 16th July. Please do let me know if you would like to join this meeting and you have not already responded to the Doodle Poll. I shall send a formal invitation out tomorrow. Yours, James -- Dr James A J Wilson Head of Research Data Services Research IT Services Information Services Division, UCL.

Planning the RDARI Interest Group session for RDA 16

by James Wilson

Dear RDARIans, Whilst it looks as though we will not be getting an excuse to visit Costa Rica, I am sure that we are all nevertheless looking forward to the 16th RDA Plenary! With IG applications required by August, we need to start thinking about what we would like to cover as a group. With this in mind, I'd like to extend an open invitation to group members to get involved in the planning for the next meeting. I have set up a Doodle Poll at https://doodle.com/poll/3t2i2mz4q6q8ia66 listing some possible meeting times.

RDA Plenary 15 cancelled

by Ville Tenhunen

Dear all, RDA has made a decision to cancel plenary in Melbourne next week: https://rd-alliance.org/rda-15th-plenary-meeting-cancelled-0 No doubt, the decision has been tough and hard, but IMHO understandable in these circumstances when situation changes very fast day after day. So, presumably our session in the plenary has also cancelled. All my sympathies to local organisers, RDA secretariat and others who has made har work last months with the plenary. BR, Ville

poster from LRZ for RDA-DE meeting

by Stephan Hachinger

Dear all, (esp. Ville, James, Ralph) we have soon the RDA-DE meeting (25-27 Feb) and poster deadline is approaching at horrible pace ;) (Feb 11) Now the plan would be that I carry a poster there with an overview of LRZ's RDM activities. -> We would also (if everyone agrees, and no one else presents RDARI) include a little box about RDARI in that poster (about 1/10 of poster), maybe (James?) with a description and first results of the Survey? -- if no one else is already planning to do that (Ralph?). What do you think?
