Webinar - Connecting Data, Institutions and People: FAIR Digital Objects, RDA outputs and the design of the DiSSCo Research Infrastructure - 18 March 2021
The DFT WG task is to describe a basic, abstract data organization model which can be used to derive a reference data terminology that can be used across communities and stakeholders to better synchronize conceptualization, to enable better understanding within and between communities and finally to stimulate tool building, such as for data services, supportive of the basic model’s use. We assume that this abstract data organization model will focus on common building blocks and their characteristics, along with relevant protocols.
The Published Output can be cited this way: dx.doi.org/10.15497/06825049-8CA4-40BD-BCAF-DE9F0EA2FADF
The key document which covers the last version of the core term definitions and the model is attached below as first document.
All other documents that were produced by DFT are added as well.

Different audiences for RDA and RDC glossaries?
I would like to open a discussion with the RDA folks on the respective aims of the RDA and RDC glossaries, whether or not they serve the same purposes, whether or not they are directed at the same audiences, overlap, divergences, alignment, complementarity, etc. Please engage in this discussion by contributing to a Gdoc created for this purpose: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FLTOaftkY7mbsfhfWurnWQisOiLCX2BEe__0...0 | Add new comment
