From 23-26 October 21st Plenary (P21) meeting will be taking place as part of International Data Week 2023 in the Salzburg Congress venue in Salzburg and online.
This event will be an inclusive and celebratory Festival of Data, with in-person and virtual components, highlighting the opportunities for the positive transformation of our world in the light of many global challenges.

Staff Changes in the RDA Secretariat
At the end of June, Meghan Underwood from the RDA US office and a fundamental component of the RDA Secretariat for many years, left the team to concentrate on RDA US activities. We are very grateful to Meghan for her immense contribution to RDA global. Irina Hope joined the Research Data Alliance Foundation team as the Global Events Manager on 24 July.
Irina, currently busy preparing for P21, has already worked closely with the RDA Secretariat as a previous Plenary coordinator and we are delighted she will now be working with us full time.

RDA P21 Draft Programme and Pathways Available!
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is delighted to announce that the 21st Plenary (P21) programme and pathways (programme navigation) are now ready. RDA P21 is taking place within the framework of International Data Week (IDW) 23–26 October 2023, in Salzburg, Austria and online. This is going to be the first IDW hosted in Europe!
The RDA/EOSC Future Cross-Disciplinary Outputs in the EOSC environment
The RDA/EOSC Future team is launching a series of bulletins aiming to give a flavour of the impact of the RDA/EOSC Furure Open Calls Programme.
In this first July issue, we will look in particular at the outputs of the cross-disciplinary projects and how RDA’s outputs are being tested in the EOSC environment.
