Implementation of the RDA Data Citation Recommendations by the Earth Observation Data Center

Bernhard Gößwein tells the EODC story of the implementation of the RDA Data Citation Working Group Recommendation in the openEO platform. A 20PB storage infrastructure holding Sentinel 1-3 satellite images from ESA, based on PostgreSQL and PostGIS data base for the metadata query processing and a file server hosting the actual images.  RDA Data Citation WG organises a series of webinars presenting the pilots that are implementing the WG recommendations, providing an overview of the issues identified, design decisions taken, and demonstrating the implementations achieved. More information on the and past editions in this series of webinars of the RDA Data Citation WG here.
